my characters

Oh man, I have a Repetitive strain injury (Sehnenscheidenentzündung) at the moment and I don’t know how long it’s gonna take untill it’s better.
Drawing is a thing I could take a break from, but I can’t make any handwriting! I’m typing with my left hand only now, that may be ok for free time but it’s very hindering for study work. Doesn’t really help my motivation… ._.

Luckily I made this picture and the description long ago and was just too lazy to upload it until now.
The plan to make a picture like that is about a year old, the outlines about 2/3 months, coloration about 1 month and text about 2 weeks.

Warning, long description ahead!

Boa:
Boa was the first character I created back in October 2002. She was meant to be me as a Starfox character. Later in 2004 when I was into F-zero I also used her as an F-zero character. She was still the same character; her pilot name just was Rainbow-Boa. When the F-zero obsession begun to fade (still love it) and I learned more about Furries I also learned what a Fursona is. I realized Boa isn’t a Fursona for me. I’m not that kind of person who has a Fursona at all and even if I had one, Boa is just too different from me. So Boa isn’t me, she’s just a character.
(Long story by the way why the Boa Constrictor was (is) my favourite snake, and why I even started to like snakes)

Carmen:
Originally a friend asked me to create a minor female character for one of his stories. So I created her in April 2004, since he never wrote that story I claimed her for myself. Since then she became my main character (not Fursona!). I didn’t make up an official story for her, nor I gave her a concrete personality and if I do that one day, there is always the possibility for an alternate timeline.

Liz (full name: Elizabeth):
She’s Carmen’s younger sister. Dunno why I created her in December 2004, maybe because I never had a little sister myself… She’s still a teenager and tries out a lot of things, a bit like a cliché teenager. She’s a very close friend of Izumi (one of *Devil-Katts characters).

Emmi:
Created January 2008. Because I like cows, they give me the feeling of home. XD
I tried to give her the same physique I have in RL…hey I tried! But there are some similarities.
If I ever would have a fursona, I think it would be her; I also imaged her personality a lot like mine. But again, I’m not the person who has a fursona, she’s just a character.

Elaine:
She’s a sloth, because I’m pretty lazy myself. Because of that her name is very similar to my real name (maybe even the English version of mine?).
She still needs some character development, but one’s for sure…she’s as lazy as I am. XD
